Mrs. Moungla attended the Bartica Secondary after which, to further her academic life, she attended the Anna Regina Multilateral School. She has also obtained a Diploma in Medical Office Assistance and a few courses in Computer Studies. Jasmattie is married and has two children who enjoys knitting, planting, making costume jewellery, and working with women in different communities. After spending a few years in Venezuela, she urged herself to learn the foreign language so now she also speaks Spanish. Being a Christian, Jasmattie loves to give and caters for those who visit on missionary work. Mrs. Moungla is a politician and is the Deputy Chief Scrutineer for Region 7 and an organizer under the People’s Progressive Party Civic. Jasmattie enjoys being a councilor and takes pride in serving the residents of her town, Bartica.
