Like the home she grew up in, Ms. Allicock raised a family in a single parent home. She is a self-employed mom who owns a small shop. Hazel is the Representative for Constituency 8 and has since established a multi-purpose center where she facilitates classes in knitting, sewing, paper craft and embroidery. A few years back, Hazel ventured to the interior village of Mahdia where she observed a mother experiencing some challenges to raise her child, so in light of giving that child a great upbringing she took her as her own and up to this day the child is still with her.
