This branch of the GGMC in Bartica is responsible for the entire Region 7 and serves the public in several ways; renewal of dredge licenses and application for dredge, issuing of mining privileges, certificate of registration, Gold Smith License, among others.

This office also educates miners about the correct manner they should mine via handouts and implements mining regulations while promoting mining in an environmentally friendly way. Furthermore, miners are free to visit the office if they may have any disputes to make their complaints so that it can be resolved in the best way.
