Mr Ramjag started his early life in the National Service which lasted for seven years. He was trained as a heavy duty mechanic and came out at the top of his class. After leaving the national service he became the chief mechanic for Willems Timber and Trading Company. In 2006, Harilall became an entrepreneur starting out his own trucking and heavy duty vehicle service and a grocery store. Prior to starting this council, he was in the IMC (Interim Management Committee) and after the recent local government election he became a member of the current Town Council. Mr. Ramjag is very thankful to his wife for the support she has given to him over the years.
